Aviencloud was founded by Anas Aarouch on July 25, 2013, born from a lifelong passion for sound design, visual storytelling, and anime culture. Growing up with classics like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Sailor Moon, and Shaman King sparked an early love for animated storytelling. When a friend introduced Kill la Kill—his first non-TV anime—it opened the door to discovering the vast world of anime online and inspired the spirit behind Aviencloud.
While also being a passionate gamer, he constantly searched and shared music from SoundCloud back in 2013 with friends, which built up to the final stage of creating Aviencloud—a way to creatively blend music with anime-styled digital art that captures the dynamic emotions and movements he visualizes while listening. What started as a personal project to share and promote artists quickly evolved into something much larger.
Aviencloud reached its first major milestone of 100,000 subscribers on June 10, 2018, and continues to grow as a platform known for quality and visual aesthetics that complement each soundscape.
After receiving several requests about using the music on Aviencloud, he decided to launch Aviencloud Records, which was established on October 12, 2020 as a way of giving back to the community. Operating as a separate entity from the YouTube channel, the record label releases copyright-free music (DMCA-free) that content creators, influencers, streamers, businesses, and basically everyone can freely use in their projects—music from the community, for the community.
